The browser application can't be launched. Possibly the URL is wrong.

Problem:
After running your qtp test on Windows Vista an error occurs "The browser application can't be launched. Possibly the URL is wrong."

The browser application can't be launched. Possibly the URL is wrong.

Solution:
Disable UAC setting in Control Panel by:

navigating to Control Panel > UserAccounts
and disabling following option "Turn User Account Control on or off" - Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer
logout and login again or reboot you machine
